This video won't help if you own a 2015 550i xDrive because he only shows removing two screws to detach the airbag container whereas there are two Torx screws and two 10mm bolts (read the comment by @granturismo5742). Be wary of that or you'll risk tearing up the trim. Other than than this video was very helpful. Although, I should point out a flaw in judgement when he disconnects power at the battery's positive terminal. As a safety consideration, you should always remove the negative/ground terminal rather than the positive/live since ground is distributed **openly** throughout the car. It is not a critical consideration for this particular task, but will be if you are working on, or near, electrical components around the engine compartment where a tool could potentially cause a short and sparking.

You will not pass emissions if your car has been remapped. I had a 2014 335i with an active autowerks catted down pipe and BM3 stage 2 e30 map. The car wouldn’t pass emissions. I had to re-flash my stock map and complete a drive cycle on order to pass. Same issue with my 15 M4 with stock cats and a stage 1 map. I had to flash the M4 back to stock map in order to pass emissions. I’m in Atlanta Ga the, I understand every state is slightly different

I Changed the battery to Lead-Acid one with same Ah, and changed the type using Bimmer Code, and then registered it using BimmerLink but the even after the successfully registration, the battery percentage shows it's 64%. Do I need to use the car for couple of days to read the correct percentage? G30

i installed spacers that came with arm downpipes for extra $ i was very surprised that they actually worked when i started it up after install the CEL didn’t come on it’s been about a week still no CEL with a lot of driving

How many miles were on that 12c??? It was really tappin at the end of your video!!! Do they all sound like a ticking timebomb?? I mean loose valves are WAAAY BETTER then tight valves but that seems a bit much......may need a valve adjustment? Just curious on the miles mostly. I WISH i had 1 Id learn how to treat it to keep it 😊
